### sec.68 Who may make an expression of interest
A person may make an expression of interest in being assessed for suitability to be an adoptive parent.
If a person has a spouse, the person must make an expression of interest jointly with the person’s spouse.
A person may not express an interest if—
the person’s name is already in the expression of interest register or suitable adoptive parents register; or
the person has custody of a child under an interim order.

(sec.68-ssec.1) A person may make an expression of interest in being assessed for suitability to be an adoptive parent.
(sec.68-ssec.2) If a person has a spouse, the person must make an expression of interest jointly with the person’s spouse.
(sec.68-ssec.3) A person may not express an interest if— the person’s name is already in the expression of interest register or suitable adoptive parents register; or the person has custody of a child under an interim order.
