### sec.59 Effect of consent or dispensation ending
This section applies if—
a parent revokes his or her consent to the child’s adoption under section 20 ; or
an order dispensing with the need for a parent’s consent is overturned on appeal or discharged.
The parent’s guardianship of the child resumes.
The chief executive’s guardianship under section 57 , because of the consent or dispensation, ends.
The chief executive’s guardianship under section 57 , because of another parent’s consent or another dispensation, is not affected.
(sec.59-ssec.1) This section applies if— a parent revokes his or her consent to the child’s adoption under section 20 ; or an order dispensing with the need for a parent’s consent is overturned on appeal or discharged.
(sec.59-ssec.2) The parent’s guardianship of the child resumes.
(sec.59-ssec.3) The chief executive’s guardianship under section 57 , because of the consent or dispensation, ends.
(sec.59-ssec.4) The chief executive’s guardianship under section 57 , because of another parent’s consent or another dispensation, is not affected.
