### sec.333 Application by step-parent
This section applies if—
immediately before the commencement day—
an application under the repealed Act, section 13AA, to have a person’s name entered in the Relative Children’s Adoption List had not been finally dealt with; or
a person’s name was in the Relative Children’s Adoption List; and
the person is a person who may apply to adopt the relevant child under section 92.
The person is taken to have made an application under that section to the chief executive to arrange an adoption by the person of the child.
(sec.333-ssec.1) This section applies if— immediately before the commencement day— an application under the repealed Act, section 13AA, to have a person’s name entered in the Relative Children’s Adoption List had not been finally dealt with; or a person’s name was in the Relative Children’s Adoption List; and the person is a person who may apply to adopt the relevant child under section 92.
(sec.333-ssec.2) The person is taken to have made an application under that section to the chief executive to arrange an adoption by the person of the child.
- (a) immediately before the commencement day— (i) an application under the repealed Act, section 13AA, to have a person’s name entered in the Relative Children’s Adoption List had not been finally dealt with; or (ii) a person’s name was in the Relative Children’s Adoption List; and
- (i) an application under the repealed Act, section 13AA, to have a person’s name entered in the Relative Children’s Adoption List had not been finally dealt with; or
- (ii) a person’s name was in the Relative Children’s Adoption List; and
- (b) the person is a person who may apply to adopt the relevant child under section 92.
- (i) an application under the repealed Act, section 13AA, to have a person’s name entered in the Relative Children’s Adoption List had not been finally dealt with; or
- (ii) a person’s name was in the Relative Children’s Adoption List; and
