### sec.307M Questioning of children A child giving evidence or expressing the child’s views in an adoption proceeding must not be cross-examined. Also, only the following persons may ask questions of a child giving evidence or expressing the child’s views in an adoption proceeding— the members constituting the tribunal for the proceeding; the lawyer, if any, representing the child; the separate representative, if any, for the child. s 307M ins 2009 No. 48 s 120 (sec.307M-ssec.1) A child giving evidence or expressing the child’s views in an adoption proceeding must not be cross-examined.
