### sec.248 Identifying information
A reference in this part to information that identifies a person includes information that is likely to lead to the identification of the person.
Information may identify a person, if given to another person, because of other information that the other person has or is able to obtain.
A person’s first name may identify the person if given to someone else who is able to obtain information about the person’s family and the area in which the person lives.
