### sec.185 Effect of interim order
While an interim order is in force for the adoption of a child by a person, the person has custody of the child.
An interim order does not affect the chief executive’s guardianship of the child.
While an interim order is in force, the chief executive must supervise the child’s wellbeing and interests.
