### sec.172 Particular Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander placements
This section applies if the child is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child and the prospective adoptive parents are not from the child’s community or language group.
An adoption plan must be agreed to that addresses the matters stated in section 165 (2) (c) .
