### sec.167 Purpose
The purpose of an adoption plan is to contribute to the success of the proposed adoption or adoption by ensuring parties to the proposed adoption or adoption—
properly consider—
the matters that may affect the child’s wellbeing and interests; and
the consequences of entering into the particular arrangements for the proposed adoption or adoption (for example, the degree of openness); and
commit to practical ways to address the matters mentioned in paragraph (a) .
