M. STEPHEN\n\nGovernor-General\n\nBy His Excellency's Command,\n\nBEN HUMPHREYS\n\nMinister of State for Veterans' Affairs\n\n–––––––––––\n\nCommencement\n\n1. These Regulations commence at the commencement of the Student Assistance Legislation Amendment Act 1988.\n\n2. After regulation 16 of the Veterans' Entitlements Regulations the following regulation is inserted:\n\nRecovery of overpayments—prescribed educational schemes\n\n\"17. For the purposes of paragraph 205 (1) (aa) of the Act, the following educational schemes are prescribed:\n\n(a) the AUSTUDY scheme;\n\n(b) the Aboriginal Study Assistance Scheme;\n\n(c) the Aboriginal Secondary Assistance Scheme;\n\n(d) the Post-graduate Awards Scheme;\n\n(e) the Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme;\n\n(f) the scheme to provide an allowance known as the Adult Migrant Education Program Living Allowance;\n\n  \n\n(g) the scheme to provide an allowance known as the Maintenance Allowance for Refugees.\".\n\nNOTES\n\n1\\.
