Some land goes to the college's trustees, other land goes to the University.\n- **Cleans up the legal title** by removing old restrictions (\"trusts\") that previously applied to the land, giving both parties full ownership (\"fee simple\").\n- **Updates an old 1924 lease agreement** (called an \"indenture of subgrant\") to reflect the new boundaries of land that Saint Paul's College actually occupies.\n- **Preserves the rules** about how Saint Paul's College must use its land — it still has to follow the same religious and educational purposes as before.\n\n**Who it affects:**\n- **Saint Paul's College** — gains clear ownership of lots 3 and 4 (near City Road), but sees its original 1924 lease redrawn to cover only the land it actually keeps.\n- **The University of Sydney** — gains clear ownership of lots 1 and 2, which it previously didn't fully own.\n\n**Why it matters:**\nThis is essentially **property housekeeping**. Both institutions had complicated overlapping rights to land dating back to the 1850s and 1920s. This Act sorts out who owns exactly what, making it easier to build, maintain, or sell the land in future. It ensures Saint Paul's College can continue operating as a religious college while the University gets clean title to its adjacent land."},"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
