Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.\n\n3  Authority\n\n  This instrument is made under subitem 85(1) of Schedule 1 to the Universities Accord (Cutting Student Debt by 20 Per Cent) Act 2025.\n\n4  Definitions\n\n  In this instrument:\n\nAct means the Universities Accord (Cutting Student Debt by 20 Per Cent) Act 2025.\n\n5  Modification rules\n\n (1) For the purposes of subitem 85(1) of Schedule 1 to the Act:\n\n (a) provisions of the Higher Education Support Act 2003, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Act, that refer to 1 June 2025, are modified and apply as if a reference to 1 June 2025 were a reference to 3 June 2025; and\n\n (b) provisions of the Australian Apprenticeship Support Loans Act 2014, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Act, that refer to 1 June 2025, are modified and apply as if a reference to 1 June 2025 were a reference to 2 June 2025.\n\n (c) provisions of the VET Student Loans Act 2016, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Act, that refer to 1 June 2025, are modified and apply as if a reference to 1 June 2025 were a reference to 2 June 2025.\n\n \n","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This instrument performs exactly the limited technical function suggested by its title and enabling provision—modifying commencement dates in the parent Act.
