It does two things:\n\n- **Revokes** an existing tariff concession (Order 9306363) that had been in place since 1993, which gave certain puzzles reduced or zero import duties. This revocation takes effect from 1 January 2007.\n\n- **Replaces it** with a new tariff concession (Order 0614712) that applies to the same types of puzzles (excluding jigsaw puzzles made of cardboard or wood, and puzzles made of cardboard or non-toxic plastic foam), but under a different customs classification code.\n\n**Who it affects:** Importers of puzzles into Australia. The change in classification code (from 9503.60 to 9503.00.50) affects how these goods are categorised for customs purposes and which tariff rates apply.\n\n**Why it matters:** This ensures the correct tariff treatment for specific puzzle imports, maintaining concessional duty rates while updating the administrative classification to reflect current customs practices."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712","history":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712/history","analysis":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/tariff-concession-revocation-order-hs2007-648a-tariff-concession-order-0614712/documents"}}
