The Superannuation Act 1922 has been replaced by newer schemes (the 1976 and 1990 Acts), and this particular regulation stops at 1976. Anyone still receiving benefits under the old 1922 Act would have their calculations based on these historical rates.\n\n**Why it matters:**\n- This document shows how government-set interest rates for retirement savings were prescribed in the past.\n- It demonstrates the historical transition from fixed, government-declared rates to modern market-linked investment returns in superannuation.\n- For researchers or people tracing old Commonwealth superannuation entitlements, this table provides the official rates that applied during the 1957-1976 period."},"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"Scope remains limited to prescribing interest rates for the specified financial years for use under subsection (3) of section 90.
