This includes penalties for dodgy marketing, substandard training, or breaching educational rules.\n\n**The carve-out:**\nRegulators don't have to publish this information if there's a specific legal prohibition preventing disclosure (such as privacy laws or court suppression orders).\n\n**Why it matters:**\nStudents and employers deserve to know when a training provider has been slapped with sanctions. This transparency helps people make informed choices about where to study, shines a light on regulator decision-making, and deters providers from cutting corners."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017","history":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017/history","analysis":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/standards-for-vet-regulators-amendment-2017/documents"}}
