Name of Notice\n\nThis Notice is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Specified Rate per Kilometre) Notice 2008 (3).\n\n2. Commencement\n\nThis Notice commences on the later of:\n\n(a) 1 July 2008; or\n\n(b) the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.\n\n3. Declaration\n\nFor paragraph 16(6)(c) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, I specify that the rate per kilometre to apply for the purposes of subsection 16(6) are those rates specified in column 1 of the Schedule appearing opposite the dates in column 2.\n\n4.
