{"id":"F2013L01782","name":"Residential Colleges Affiliation Rules 2013","slug":"residential-colleges-affiliation-rules-2013","collection":"legislative_instrument","jurisdiction":"commonwealth","status":"repealed","isInForce":false,"actNumber":null,"makingDate":null,"administeringDepartment":null,"currentVersion":{"id":127858,"registerId":"commonwealth-F2013L01782-current","compilationNumber":null,"startDate":"2026-04-03","status":"Repealed","reasons":null,"registeredAt":null},"sections":[{"sectionNumber":"1","sectionType":"section","heading":"Residential Colleges Affiliation Rules 2013","content":"THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY\n\nResidential Colleges Affiliation Statute 2013\n\nRESIDENTIAL COLLEGES AFFILIATION RULES 2013\n\nThe Council of The Australian National University makes these Rules under section 13 of the Residential Colleges Affiliation Statute 2013.\n\nDated: 4 October 2013.\n\nProfessor the Hon Gareth Evans AC QC FASSA\n\nCHANCELLOR\n\n1 Name of Rules and commencement\n\n1(1) These Rules are the Residential Colleges Affiliation Rules 2013.\n\n(2) These Rules commence on the day after they are registered.\n\n2 Discipline and conduct\n\n2(1) Each College is to formulate draft rules in relation to discipline and conduct for the College to the satisfaction of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.\n\n(2) The draft rules must not be inconsistent with the Discipline Statute, the Discipline Rules or other laws of the University.\n\n(3) The draft rules must provide that an allegation of misconduct that, if proven, might result in a student being suspended or otherwise removed from the College is to be reported in confidence to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor together with a statement of the action proposed to be taken in relation to the allegation.
