Without this protection, acting as a board member or officer under Territory law might risk their Commonwealth employment status, pension rights, or legal protections. By \"prescribing\" (officially recognising) these specific ACT laws, the regulations ensure that Commonwealth officers working for the ACT Health Commission or Schools Authority retain their full Commonwealth employment rights and protections.\n\n**Other changes**\nThe regulations repeal and replace the 1975 version of these rules to update the list of covered laws."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations","history":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations/history","analysis":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/officers-rights-declaration-territory-laws-regulations/documents"}}
