This Act may be cited as the Northern Territory (Administration) Act (No. 2) 1940.\n\n(2.) Section one of the Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1940 is amended by omitting sub-section (2.).\n\n(3.) The Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1910-1939, as amended by the Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1940, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.\n\n(4.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1910-1940.\n\nCommencement.\n\n2. This Act shall commence on a date to be fixed by Proclamation.\n\nAmendment of s. 4.\n\n3.
