This Act may be cited as the Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1961.\n\n(2.) The Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1910–1959 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.\n\n(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Northern Territory (Administration) Act 1910–1961.\n\nOath to be taken by Administrator, &c.\n\n2. Section three d of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from sub-section (2.) the word “Territory” and inserting in its stead the words “Northern Territory of Australia”.\n\nApplication of Commonwealth Electoral Act.\n\n3. Section four e of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in sub-section (3.), after the word “Territory”, the words “of Australia”.\n\nDisqualifications for membership of Legislative Council.\n\n4. Section four ka of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in sub-section (4.), after the word “Territory”, the words “of Australia”.\n\nWards Benefits Trust Fund.\n\n5.
