No. 163.\n\nREGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1946-1948.\\*\n\nI, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence (Transitional Provisions) Act 1946-1948.\n\nDated this twenty-first day of December, 1948.\n\nW. J. McKELL\n\nGovernor-General.\n\nBy His Excellency’s Command,\n\nR. T. POLLARD\n\nfor and on behalf of the Minister of State for Post-war Reconstruction.\n\nRepeal of the National Security (Hide and Leather Industries) Regulations.†\n\nCommencement.\n\n1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of January, 1949.\n\nRepeal.\n\n2. The National Security (Hide and Leather Industries) Regulations as in force by virtue of sub-section (1.) of section 6 of the Defence (Transitional Provisions) Act 1946-1948 are repealed.\n\n\\* Notified in the Commonwealth Gazette on 23rd December, 1948.\n\n† Being the Regulations having that title as in force under the Defence (Transitional Provisions) Act 1946-1948. The Regulations under the National Security Act 1939-1946 having the corresponding title comprise Statutory Rules 1939, No. 153, as amended by Statutory Rules 1940, Nos. 173 and 249; 1941, No. 273; 1942, Nos. 140 and 403; and 1943, No. 206.\n\nBy Authority: L.
