This Determination commences on 1 January 2011 and will cease to have effect at the end of 31 December 2011.\n\n2. This Determination revokes all previous Determinations made pursuant to subsection 84HA(1) of the National Health Act 1953.\n\n3. The amount payable by the Commonwealth to an approved pharmacist, an approved medical practitioner or an approved hospital authority in respect of each safety net concession card, each pharmaceutical benefits entitlement card, and each additional or replacement card in relation to any of those cards, issued in accordance with the relevant provisions of the National Health Act 1953 and the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Regulations 1960 by an approved pharmacist, an approved medical practitioner or an approved hospital authority from 1 January 2011 shall be $8.58.\n\nDated 22 November 2010\n\nBERYL JANZ\n\nAssistant Secretary\n\nPharmaceutical Benefits Division\n\nDepartment of Health and Ageing","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":1596},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This determination operates strictly within the original scope of section 84HA(1) of the National Health Act 1953, which authorises the Minister to determine the amount payable for issuing PBS safety net and entitlement cards.
