This instrument may also be cited as IMMI 17/078.\n\n2  Commencement\n\n  This instrument commences on 1 July 2017.\n\n3  Authority\n\n  This instrument is made under subparagraph 2.72(10)(g)(iv) of the Regulations.\n\n4  Definitions\n\n  In this instrument:\n\nRegulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.\n\n5  Purpose\n\nThis instrument specifies the period of time within which certain holders of Subclass 457 visas must have obtained specified results in an English language test. \n\n \n\nPart 2 – Time Period for English Language Requirements\n\n \n\n6  Time period for English language requirements for Subclass 457 nominations\n\nFor the purpose of subparagraph 2.72(10)(g)(iv) of the Regulations, the specified period is the period of three years from the date of the nomination.\n\n \n\nPart 3 – Application\n\n7 Application of this instrument\n\nThis instrument applies to nominations made on and after 1 July 2017, and to nominations made and not finally determined before 1 July 2017.\n","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":1881},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":1,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The instrument remains strictly limited to its original purpose of specifying the validity period for English language test results in Subclass 457 nominations.
