These Regulations are the Migration Agents Registration Renewal Charge Regulations 1998.\n\nCommencement\n\n2. These Regulations commence on 21 March 1998.\n\nAmount of charge\n\n3. For section 6 of the Migration Agents Registration Renewal Charge Act 1997, the amount of charge payable is:\n\n(a) for an individual who intends to charge a fee for giving immigration assistance—$1,000; or\n\n(b) for an individual who does not intend to charge a fee for giving immigration assistance—$150.\n\nCessation of effect of Regulations\n\n4. These Regulations cease to have effect on 21 March 1999.\n\n\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\n\n> Note: NOTE\n\n> Note: 1.
