Before this Act, the New Zealand Methodist Church was legally part of the Australian structure — like a subsidiary company. This law, along with matching legislation in other states and New Zealand, allowed the New Zealand church to become its own legal entity while ensuring existing property deeds and church laws continued to work properly during the transition."},"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
