Employers must keep the information in Form 1 (or record the same data elsewhere promptly and accurately), give Form 2 before a worker goes on long service leave and Form 3 when payment is made instead of leave, and retain service records for three years. This primarily affects employers (who bear the compliance and record‑keeping costs) and workers (who receive standardised notices)."},"issue_detection":{"absurdities":[],"contradictions":[]},"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The regulations maintain their original narrow purpose of prescribing record-keeping forms and notices for long service leave. Must be kept for 3 years after the worker leaves.\n - **Form 2**: A notice given to workers *before* they take long service leave, showing how much leave they're taking and how much remains.\n - **Form 3**: A notice given when an employer pays a worker cash *instead of* taking the actual leave (only allowed by mutual agreement).\n\n**Who it affects:**\n- **Employers in South Australia** who must comply with the Long Service Leave Act 1987\n- **Workers** who are entitled to receive proper documentation about their leave\n\n**Key flexibility:** Employers don't have to use the exact forms provided — they can use their own payroll or HR records *if* they capture all the same information accurately and promptly.\n\n**Why it matters:** These rules ensure workers can prove their entitlements if disputes arise, and employers have clear evidence of compliance. The regulations replace older 2002 rules with updated forms."},"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
