They cover four main areas:\n\n**1. Jury Pools (Part 2A)**\n- Sets out the paperwork for summoning people to jury pools (a central group of potential jurors)\n- Requires jury pool supervisors to report anyone who ignores their summons to the sheriff\n- Ensures jurors are selected by ballot before the court needs them\n\n**2. Payments for Civil Trials (Part 2)**\n- Fixes the amounts that parties in civil lawsuits must pay for having a jury: $1,195 for the initial fee and $230 per day after the first day\n\n**3. Juror Fees and Expenses (Part 3)**\n- Sets daily payments for jurors: $10 for half a day, $15 for days 1-3, and $20 for each day after that\n- Allows higher payments (up to $1,000, or more in hardship cases) if jurors lose more income than the standard fee\n- Covers travel costs: public transport fares or 45 cents per kilometre if driving\n- Lets employers claim back payments if they continue paying wages to staff on jury duty\n- Requires jurors to tell the court their employer's details within 14 days of finishing service\n\n**4. Infringement Notices (Part 4)**\n- Allows fines to be issued on-the-spot ($800) for ignoring jury summons or directions\n- Sets out the forms for these fines and how people can pay or dispute them\n\nThe regulations include standard forms for summonses, court orders for jurors (precepts), and infringement notices."},"summary":{"complexity_score":1,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"Scope cannot be assessed as no legislative content was available for analysis.
