It updates terminology (e.g., “disability parking permit”), fixes statute references, clarifies officers’ powers over unlicensed or unplated vehicles, adjusts fire‑hydrant no‑parking distances with exemptions for buses and taxis, updates infringement forms, and removes a redundant disabled‑parking clause. It affects anyone who parks in Gosnells and mainly tidies up law and enforcement rather than changing substantive parking rights."},"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":4,"scope_assessment":{"changed":true,"description":"Yes. The amendment narrows and alters enforcement scope by deleting the clause prohibiting stopping in a disabled parking area and removing that offence from Schedule 1 (cl.2.4; cl.2.9), while also modernising terminology (cl.2.2), updating statutory references (cl.2.2(c),(d); cl.2.7), changing parking restrictions (fire hydrant rule and numeric change in cl.2.6 and cl.2.5), replacing notice forms (cl.2.8), and deleting Schedule 2 (cl.2.10). It affects drivers (including taxi and bus drivers), people using disability parking, and the local enforcement process by changing what is prohibited, how offences are recorded, and which offences remain enforceable."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020","history":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020/history","analysis":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/gosnells-city-of-parking-amendment-local-law-2020/documents"}}
