M. STEPHEN\n\nGovernor-General\n\n> By His Excellency’s Command,\n\nJOHN KERIN\n\nMinister of State for Pirmary Industries and Energy\n\n\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\n\nCitation\n\n1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Levy (Western Deep-water Trawl Fishery) Regulations.\n\nInterpretation\n\n2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:\n\n> “the Act” means the Fisheries Levy Act 1984;\n\n> “the notice” means Fisheries Notice No. 212 made under subsection 8 (1) of the Fisheries Act 1952 and published in the Gazette on 29 June 1988.\n\nPrescribed class of endorsements\n\n3. The following class of endorsements is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 5 (b) of the Act, namely, endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act 1952 on licences in respect of boats granted under subsection 9 (2) or (3) of that Act each of which is an endorsement to extend a licence so as to authorise use of the boat to which the licence relates, at any time or during a period specified in an endorsement, for activities by way of fishing that are prohibited by the notice.\n\nAmount of levy\n\n4. For the purposes of subsection 6 (1) of the Act,\n\n$980 is specified as the amount of levy in respect of an endorsement included in the class of endorsements prescribed by regulation 3.\n\n> Note: NOTE\n\n> Note: 1.
