KERIN\n\nMinister of State for Primary Industries\n\nand Energy\n\n\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\n\nCitation\n\n1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Levy (Bass Strait Scallop Fishery) Regulations.\n\n  \n\nInterpretation\n\n2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:\n\n“Act” means the Fisheries Levy Act 1984;\n\n“Plan of Management” means Plan of Management No. BSS1:\n\n(a) determined on 18 April 1991 under subsection 7b (1) of the Fisheries Act 1952; and\n\n(b) the making of which was notified in the Gazette on 1 May 1991; and\n\n(c) as in force from time to time.\n\nPrescribed units of fishing capacity\n\n3. For the purposes of paragraphs 5 (bc) and (bd) of the Act, a unit of fishing capacity allocated, or renewed, in accordance with the Plan of Management is a prescribed unit of fishing capacity.\n\nAmount of levy\n\n4. For the purposes of subsection 6 (1) of the Act, the amount of levy on the allocation or renewal of a prescribed unit of fishing capacity specified in regulation 3 is $2,000.\n\n\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\n\nNOTE\n\n1.
