Specifically, they keep **Part IV of the Financial Relief Act 1932** in force from **1 July 1933 to 30 September 1933**.\n\n**What this means:**\n*   **Who it affects:** People or businesses (likely farmers, small businesses, or debtors) who were relying on temporary protections under the 1932 Act—probably things like delays on debt repayments, protection from foreclosure, or moratoriums on creditor actions.\n*   **What it does:** Prevents these relief measures from expiring on 30 June 1933 by pushing the expiration date back to 30 September 1933.\n*   **Why it matters:** During the economic crisis of the 1930s, these temporary legal protections prevented widespread bankruptcies and foreclosures. This regulation simply \"kept the lights on\" for another quarter while the government decided on longer-term solutions."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations","history":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations/history","analysis":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/financial-relief-regulations/documents"}}
