This Declaration may be cited as the Digital Data Service Provider Declaration 1999 (No. 1).\n\nCommencement\n\n2. This Declaration commences on gazettal.\n\nInterpretation\n\n3. In this Declaration:\n\n> Act means the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999.\n\n> Telstra means Telstra Corporation Limited (ACN 051 775 556).\n\nGeneral digital data service provider\n\n4. Telstra is a general digital data service provider for the general digital data service areas ascertained in accordance with section 4 of the Digital Data Service Areas Determination 1999 (No. 1).\n\nSpecial digital data service provider\n\n5.
