Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.\n\n3  Authority\n\nThis instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.\n\n4  Definitions\n\n Defence Determination means the Defence Determination 2016/19, Conditions of service, as in force from time to time.\n\n Deployment allowance means the daily rate of deployment allowance payable under section 17.7.6 of the Defence Determination.\n\nSpecified period means the period between 18 June 2022 and 3 July 2022.\n\n5  Application\n\nThis instrument applies to a member who is eligible for deployment allowance in connection with Operation KUDU during the specified period.\n\n6  Deployment allowance\n\n1. The member is eligible for AUD 173.16 for each day during the specified period they were eligible for deployment allowance in connection with Operation KUDU.\n\n2.  The benefit under this section is reduced by the amount of deployment allowance the member has received in connection with Operation KUDU during the specified period.\n\n7  Repeal\n\nThis instrument is repealed on 30 June 2026.\n","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
