The Schedule contains a detailed technical description using land titles (Lot numbers), compass bearings, and distances to draw the exact line on the ground.\n\n2. **Allowing a promotional levy** — businesses operating in commercial premises within the Precinct can be charged a fee to fund marketing and promotional activities for the area. \"Commercial premises\" specifically excludes the Corporation's own business operations.\n\n**Who it affects:**\n- Property owners and businesses within the mapped Darwin Waterfront Precinct\n- The Darwin Waterfront Corporation itself\n- Anyone leasing or operating commercial businesses in the designated area\n\n**Why it matters:**\nThis is essentially the \"rulebook\" that establishes the geographic footprint of Darwin's flagship urban redevelopment project and creates the mechanism for businesses in that area to collectively fund its promotion.
