It **deletes the phrase \"the bona fide employee of a Customs agent\"** from Regulation 164 of the Customs Regulations.\n\n**What this means:**\n- **Bona fide** is a legal term meaning \"genuine\" or \"in good faith\"\n- **Customs agents** are businesses or individuals licensed to handle customs clearance for importers and exporters\n- By removing this phrase, the regulation no longer treats employees of customs agents as a special category under Regulation 164\n\n**Practical impact:** Depending on what Regulation 164 covered (likely relating to entry to customs areas, licensing, or exemptions), employees of customs agents may now need to meet the same individual requirements as ordinary members of the public, rather than enjoying the same status as their employers. This removes an exemption or privilege previously available to these workers."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment","history":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment/history","analysis":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/customs-regulations-1922-amendment/documents"}}
