This repeal eliminates those specific requirements.\n\n**Why it matters:**\nThis is administrative housekeeping that reduces red tape for importers and exporters. Certificates of origin are used to determine duty rates and trade restrictions, while certificates of interest disclose who owns the goods financially. Removing these specific 1940 regulations simplified the documentation needed for international trade at the time."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal","history":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal/history","analysis":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/customs-certificates-of-origin-and-interest-regulations-repeal/documents"}}
