{"id":"F2009L04022","name":"CASA EX92/09 - Exemption - flight instructor (aeroplane) rating","slug":"casa-ex92-09-exemption-flight-instructor-aeroplane-rating","collection":"legislative_instrument","jurisdiction":"commonwealth","status":"repealed","isInForce":false,"actNumber":null,"makingDate":null,"administeringDepartment":null,"currentVersion":{"id":81521,"registerId":"commonwealth-F2009L04022-current","compilationNumber":null,"startDate":"2026-04-02","status":"Repealed","reasons":null,"registeredAt":null},"sections":[{"sectionNumber":"1","sectionType":"section","heading":"CASA EX92/09 - Exemption - flight instructor (aeroplane) rating","content":"Instrument number CASA EX92/09\n\nI, gregory james hood, Executive Manager, CASA Operations Division, a delegate of CASA, make this instrument under regulation 308 of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR 1988).\n\n\\[Signed Greg Hood\\]\n\nGreg Hood  \nExecutive Manager  \nCASA Operations Division\n\n16 November 2009\n\nExemption — flight instructor (aeroplane) rating\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on the day after it is registered; and\n\n(b) stops having effect at the end of 31 March 2010.\n\n2 Application\n\nThis instrument applies to Farhain Binte Abu Bakar, Aviation Reference Number (ARN) 769385 and Kabir Khan Bin Azraf Khan, ARN 769357, in relation to the requirements for the issue of ratings.\n\n3 Exemption\n\nFarhain Binte Abu Bakar and Kabir Khan Bin Azraf Khan are exempt from compliance with regulations 5.14, 5.16 and 5.18 of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in Schedule 1.\n\n4 Conditions\n\nThe exemption is subject to the conditions mentioned in Schedule 2.\n\nSchedule 1 Extent of exemption\n\nThe exemption extends only to the directions under regulation 5.14 of CAR 1988 that are contained in subparagraph 4.2 (a) of Civil Aviation Order 40.1.7 (CAO 40.1.7).\n\nSchedule 2 Conditions\n\nFarhain Binte Abu Bakar and Kabir Khan Bin Azraf Khan must:\n\n(a) hold a certificate of validation issued in accordance with regulation 5.27 of CAR 1988; and\n\n(b) hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplanes) and an instrument rating issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore; and\n\n(c) have completed a course of flight instruction, course of instructional principles and methods and have passed a flight test specified in paragraph 4.1 of CAO 40.1.7.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":1994},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This is a specific individual exemption instrument with an inherently narrow scope limited to two named pilots.
