Gemmell\\]\n\nBruce Gemmell\n\nDeputy Chief Executive and  \nChief Operating Officer\n\n9 January 2006\n\nExemption — carriage of life rafts\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on the day after it is registered; and\n\n(b) stops having effect at the end of December 2007.\n\n2 Application\n\nThis instrument applies to the Boeing 717 aircraft operated by National Jet Systems Pty Ltd, Aviation Reference Number 436109 (the aircraft) in operations involving flights over water.\n\n3 Exemption\n\n(1)The aircraft are exempt from compliance with directions under subregulation 252 (1) of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in subsection (2).\n\n(2)The exemption applies only to the requirement to comply with paragraph 5.2.1 of Civil Aviation Order 20.11 in relation to the carriage of life rafts.\n\n4 Condition\n\nThe direction is subject to the condition that the aircraft must be within the lesser of 120 minutes at normal cruising speed, or 400 nautical miles, from land suitable for an emergency landing.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":2862},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The instrument maintains a narrow scope, applying only to specific Boeing 717 aircraft operated by National Jet Systems Pty Ltd.
