Gemmell\\]\n\nBruce Gemmell  \nDeputy Chief Executive  \nand Chief Operating Officer\n\n31 August 2006\n\nExemption — from compliance with flight manual for jettison system\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on 1 September 2006; and\n\n(b) stops having effect at the end of 31 August 2008.\n\n2 Application\n\nThis instrument applies to the pilot in command (the pilot) of a single engine aeroplane engaged in private or aerial work operations (the aeroplane) and having:\n\n(a) a certificate of airworthiness in the agricultural category or in the restricted category; and\n\n(b) a permanently installed jettison system to allow the pilot to jettison in flight the contents of a hopper or vessel that is permanently installed in the aeroplane.\n\n3 Exemption\n\nThe pilot of the aeroplane is exempt from compliance with regulation 138 of CAR 1988 to the extent that the regulation requires compliance with the maximum take-off weight limitation for the aeroplane mentioned in the flight manual, a placard, or partly in a placard and partly in another document.\n\n> Note This instrument operates in association with instrument CASA EX22/2002.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":1542},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The instrument remains tightly focused on its stated purpose: exempting agricultural aircraft with jettison systems from maximum take-off weight limits.
