This exemption allows the marks to be painted on both sides of the **stabiliser** (the tail section) instead, provided the characters are at least 50 millimetres high.\n\n**Why it matters:** It grants legal permission for this specific aircraft to comply with an alternative marking standard, typically due to structural or design constraints that make the usual marking location impractical.\n\n**How long it lasted:** The exemption took effect the day after it was made and expired automatically at the end of July 2009."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings","history":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings/history","analysis":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/casa-ex36-07-exemption-display-of-markings/documents"}}
