Gemmell\\]\n\nBruce Gemmell\n\nDeputy Chief Executive and\n\nChief Operating Officer\n\n9 March 2006\n\nExemption — from requirement to carry published charts\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on 9 March 2006; and\n\n(b) stops having effect at the end of 31 May 2006.\n\n2 Definitions\n\nIn this instrument, words and expressions have the same meaning as in instrument CASA 19/06.\n\n3 Application\n\nThis instrument applies:\n\n(a) to the pilot in command of an RNP capable Boeing 737-800 aeroplane (an aircraft) operated by Qantas Airways Ltd (Qantas); and\n\n(b) to the RNAV (RNP-AR) trial described in instrument CASA 19/06 (the Qantas trial); and\n\n(c) to a flight that includes an approach to, or departure from, runway 16R at Kingsford Smith aerodrome (16R KSA).\n\n4 Exemption\n\nThe pilot in command of an aircraft for a flight in the Qantas trial is exempt from compliance with paragraph 233 (1) (h) of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in Schedule 1.\n\n5 Condition\n\nThe exemption is subject to the condition mentioned in Schedule 2.\n\nSchedule 1 Extent of exemption from CAR 233 (1) (h)\n\nThe requirement that the RNAV (RNP-AR) approach and departure charts for 16R KSA must be those published in AIP or by an approved person.\n\nSchedule 2 Condition\n\nThe pilot in command must ensure that originals or exact copies of the final RNAV (RNP-AR) approach and departure charts for 16R KSA, designed by Naverus Inc., for Qantas, for the flight, are carried in the aircraft and are readily accessible to the flight crew.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":2025},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This exemption maintains a narrow, temporary scope strictly limited to facilitating a specific flight trial.
