{"id":"F2010L03221","name":"CASA EX106/10 – Exemption – refuelling in Ordinance Loading Areas at Tindal","slug":"casa-ex106-10-exemption-refuelling-in-ordinance-loading-areas-at-tindal","collection":"legislative_instrument","jurisdiction":"commonwealth","status":"repealed","isInForce":false,"actNumber":null,"makingDate":null,"administeringDepartment":null,"currentVersion":{"id":85432,"registerId":"commonwealth-F2010L03221-current","compilationNumber":null,"startDate":"2026-04-02","status":"Repealed","reasons":null,"registeredAt":null},"sections":[{"sectionNumber":"1","sectionType":"section","heading":"CASA EX106/10 – Exemption – refuelling in Ordinance Loading Areas at Tindal","content":"Instrument number CASA EX106/10\n\nI, gregory james hood, Executive Manager, CASA Operations Division, a delegate of CASA, make this instrument under subregulation 308 (1) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR 1988).\n\n\\[Signed Greg Hood\\]\n\nGreg Hood  \nExecutive Manager  \nCASA Operations Division\n\n21 December 2010\n\nExemption — refuelling in Ordinance Loading Areas at Tindal\n\n1 Duration\n\nThis instrument:\n\n(a) commences on the day after it is registered; and\n\n(b) stops having effect at the end of 30 November 2011.\n\n2 Application\n\nThis instrument applies to Pel-Air Aviation Pty Limited, Aviation Reference Number 227573 (the operator), when fuelling operations are being conducted within Ordinance Loading Areas (OLAs) at the Royal Australian Air Force base at Tindal.\n\n3 Exemption\n\nAn aircraft operated by the operator is exempt from compliance with subregulation 235 (7) of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in Schedule 1.\n\n4 Conditions\n\nThe exemption is subject to the conditions mentioned in Schedule 2.\n\nSchedule 1 Extent of exemption\n\nThe exemption extends only to the directions under subregulation 235 (7) of CAR 1988 that are contained in paragraph 4.1.1 of Civil Aviation Order 20.9.\n\nSchedule 2 Conditions\n\n1 This exemption applies only to the fuelling of Westwind aircraft engaged in Australian Defence Force (ADF) support operations.\n\n2 The fuelling operations must be carried out by trained ADF personnel in accordance with the established procedures for refuelling in OLAs.\n\n3 The equipment installed in OLAs, to ensure the safety of fuelling operations, must be serviceable.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":2129},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This is the original 2010 exemption instrument establishing a narrow, specific permission for ADF support operations at Tindal.
