This instrument says Skywest's Fokker F28 planes don't need to carry them.\n\n**The condition**\n\nThe exemption only works if the aircraft stays close to emergency landing options. The plane must remain within whichever distance is shorter of:\n* **60 minutes** flying time on one engine; or  \n* **345 nautical miles** from a suitable airport (an \"adequate aerodrome\" as defined in Civil Aviation Order 82.0).\n\n**Duration**\n\nThe permission lasted from 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2009."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts","history":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts/history","analysis":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/casa-369-07-direction-carriage-of-life-rafts/documents"}}
