Once fishers collectively catch these amounts, fishing for these species must stop for the year. This protects the marine environment and the long-term economic viability of the industry. The instrument automatically expired on 31 December 2017."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017","history":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017/history","analysis":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/bass-strait-central-zone-scallop-fishery-total-allowable-catch-determination-2017/documents"}}
