M. STEPHEN\n\nGovernor-General\n\nBy His Excellency's Command,\n\nJOHN KERIN\n\nMinister of State for Primary Industries\n\nand Energy\n\n–––––––––––\n\nShort title\n\n1. These Regulations may be cited as the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations.\n\nInterpretation\n\n2. In these Regulations, \"the Act\" means the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977.\n\nPrescribed schemes: subsection 8 (3A) of the Act\n\n3. For the purposes of subsection 8 (3A) of the Act, each of the following schemes is a prescribed scheme for the marketing of meat or livestock:\n\n(a) AUS-MEAT, a scheme operated by the Authority for Uniform Specification Meat and Livestock, a committee appointed under section 16 of the Act;\n\n(b) CALM, a computer aided livestock marketing scheme operated by the CALM Services Board, a committee appointed under that section.  \n\nNOTE\n\n1\\.
