If the Director is away, the Administrative Officer takes over.\n* **How to use it:** The seal can only be stamped on documents when:\n * The Board formally votes to approve this at a regular meeting; **and**\n * The Director (or Administrative Officer if the Director is absent) applies the seal while the Board chairman (or another Board member if the chairman is absent) watches.\n\n**Who it affects:**\n\nThe Board members, Director, and Administrative Officer of the Art Gallery of Western Australia. It also affects anyone receiving official documents from the Gallery, as the seal proves those documents are genuine.\n\n**Why it matters:**\n\nThe common seal is the Gallery's official \"signature\" on legal documents like contracts or property transfers. These rules prevent fraud and ensure the seal isn't misused by requiring multiple people to be involved in its use and keeping it locked away when not in use."},"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
