The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 Instrument No.61 of 2001 by:\n\n1.  omitting subparagraph 5(a)(i) and replacing it with the following:\n\n“(i) suffering from a fracture of one or more tarsal or metatarsal bones of the affected foot before the clinical onset of pes planus; or”\n\nB. inserting, immediately after subparagraph 5(a)(i), the following:\n\n“(ia) suffering from a subluxation, or dislocation of one or more of the tarsal or tarso-metatarsal joints of the affected foot before the clinical onset of pes planus; or”\n\nC. omitting subparagraph 5(b) and replacing it with the following:\n\n“(b) suffering from a fracture of one or more tarsal or metatarsal bones of the affected foot before the clinical worsening of pes planus; or”\n\nD. inserting, immediately after subparagraph 5(b), the following:\n\n“(ba) suffering from a subluxation, or dislocation of one or more of the tarsal or tarso-metatarsal joints of the affected foot before the clinical worsening of pes planus; or”\n\nE. amending subparagraph 5(c) to insert the word ‘discrete’ before ‘ligamentous’.\n\n2.
