The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (the Act), Instrument No.63 of 2001 by:\n\n1.  in paragraph 5, deleting the factors (c) and (d) and inserting in their place the following factors:\n\n“(c) for primary mesangial IgA glomerulonephritis only, inhaling or having dermal exposure to:\n\n(i) oxygenated organic solvents,\n\n(ii) aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, or\n\n(iii) aromatic hydrocarbon solvents,\n\nfor an average of at least two hours per week over a period of at least twelve months before the clinical onset of mesangial IgA glomerulonephritis; or\n\n(d) for primary mesangial IgA glomerulonephritis only, inhaling or having dermal exposure to:\n\n(i) oxygenated organic solvents,\n\n(ii) aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, or\n\n(iii) aromatic hydrocarbon solvents,\n\nfor an average of at least two hours per week over a period of at least twelve months before the clinical worsening of mesangial IgA glomerulonephritis; or”\n\n  \n\nB. in paragraph 8, deleting the definition of “organic solvents”.\n\n2.
