It lists hundreds of substances—like antioxidants, preservatives, colourants, and emulsifiers—that manufacturers are allowed to put into pesticides, animal feed, and veterinary medicines. The document essentially says: 'These specific ingredients are legal to use, provided they're used for the purposes described in each section.' For example, Part 1 lists approved antioxidants (chemicals that stop products from spoiling due to oxidation), while Part 3 lists approved preservatives and mould inhibitors. This matters to farmers, vets, and chemical manufacturers because using an ingredient not on this list could make their product illegal. It also matters to consumers because it helps ensure that chemicals used on crops or given to livestock meet safety standards."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015","history":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015/history","analysis":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/agricultural-and-veterinary-chemicals-code-ingredient-determination-2015/documents"}}
