An incorrect tightening torque value is likely to be the cause of the elongation. |\n| | This condition, if left uncorrected, could lead to heating, electrical arcing and/or smoke and could result in an in-flight loss of electrical power. For this reason, this Directive mandates the replacement of the power lead bolts on R700 and R701 shunts. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nJames Coyne \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n14 August 2009","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/TBM 700/53","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/TBM 700/53","content":"## AD/TBM 700/53","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"R700 and R701 Shunts - Power Lead Bolts","sectionType":"part","heading":"R700 and R701 Shunts - Power Lead Bolts","content":"## R700 and R701 Shunts - Power Lead Bolts","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"10/2009","sectionType":"part","heading":"10/2009","content":"## 10/2009","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This directive does not change scope beyond its stated corrective aim: it mandates bolt replacement for the listed serial-numbered TBM 700 aeroplanes within the specified timeframe (Applicability, Requirement, Compliance).
