The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\nAD/TBM 700/17\n\nAmdt 1\n\n \nElevator Trim Tab Fitting 4/2000\n\nApplicability: Aircraft S/no. 93 to 109 and trim tabs used as replacement parts delivered between 01 January 1993 and 29 February 1996.\n\nRequirement: Action in accordance with Socata TBM SB 70-079 Amendment 1.\n\nNote: DGAC AD 1996-118(A) R1 refers.\n\nCompliance: At the next inspection for Maintenance Release issue or within 100 hours time in service after the effective date of this Directive, which ever occurs first.\n\nThis Amendment becomes effective on 20 April 2000.\n\nBackground: Fittings from a particular foundry batch have been found to crack. This defect if not found and corrected, may result in separation of the trim tab and a consequent unacceptable risk of flutter.\n\nAmendment 1 issued to follow the latest Revision of the manufacturer's SB and the country of manufacture airworthiness authority.\n\nThe original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 10 October 1996.\n\n![Signature of Eugene Paul Holzapfel Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority](image.003.png) \n\nEugene Paul Holzapfel\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 3 March 2000\n\n![](image.002.png) \n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 22 March 2000.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
